Jami lives with her family in Mead, Colorado and has extended family in Ouray.
She and her husband Eric have two sons. Her youngest boy was born at 34 weeks due to congenital Cytomegalovirus or cCMV. While he passed the newborn screening, Nathan developed a progressive loss. At six months of age, they learned he was profoundly deaf.
Jami oversees the Guide By Your Side program and provides support to parents throughout the state, as well as those who have a child who is Deaf/hard of hearing “Plus” as a personal passion.

Jami is also the Executive Director for Colorado’s Hands & Voices Chapter.
